Abandoned Carts: Stop Giving 10% OFF

abandoned cart email flows email marketing klaviyo

In this video, I show you how to create a conditional split in Klaviyo so that you're not constantly giving coupons to someone who has already purchased from you.

A conditional split is a component in the Visual Flow Builder that creates two distinct paths in a flow, branching based on defined characteristics of your recipients.

This is helpful if you want to create a single flow but then curate different content for recipients based on what you already know about them (e.g., past purchase history, etc.).

For example, for an abandoned cart, you can use a conditional split to branch your flow based on whether or not a person is already a customer.

If you're like me, you may be selling consumables, topicals, ingestible, etc. If this is the case, you definitely want to set up a conditional split within your abandoned cart email flow so that you're not giving discounts over and over and over again to the same customer.
